From start to finish Before pictures Taking it step be step. This is a 11 step process. The Cabinets overall are nice but my Customer wanted something more to go with her style. This is all hand brushed no spray and no sand. If you look at the pictures you will notice that no need to take your stuff out of the cabinets or take things off the top. You will only need to take your stuff out of the drawers they will need to be pulled out of their socket for better painting the cabinet base. Notice through the process of the taping and the cleanness of the job. I tape inside the cabinet area and I do paint the back of the doors.
The starting of the job. Step 1. Tape up your cabinets inside and around the appliances and walls as you can see in my pictures and floors. Step 2. TSP solution is a hard detergent. It is stated on the container ?liquid sanding? or a de-glossing. This product is very good for cleaning grease and dirt and old stain off of your cabinets. You will have to rinse and dry. Step 3. I use Krued de-gloss formula you leave that on.
Step 4. If the cabinets are stained and we are painting them we will need to fill in the nail holes and cracks. Step 5. I will prime the cabinets with an oil base primer. I use an oil base primer because of the strength it has and it will give you a base layer for the paint to hold on to. Step 6. Base color I use Sherwin Williams Pro Classic enamel water-base paint. It is just as good as an oil base paint. Step 7 and 8 repeat Step 6. Step 9. Your glaze many colors and many styles we can create Step 10. Sealer I use polycyclic min-wax Step 11. Repeat step 10. That?s it!! Take the tape down. As far as knobs My customer did not have any . I have several styles of handles and knobs to chose from. Plus I install the knobs also. This process will take 7 days. As you can see you can still cook in your kitchen
